Tomorrow, June 18 at 9:30 AM, the EPW Committee will mark up (vote on) and consider a number of key pieces of Clean Water Network supported legislation including:
- S. 787, the Clean Water Restoration Act;
- S. 878, Clean Coastal Environment and Public Health Act of 2009 (formerly known as the beach protection act);
- S. 937, Sewage Overflow Community Right-to-Know Act; and
- S. 933, Contaminated Sediment Remediation Reauthorization Act (Great Lakes Legacy Act)
The Clean Water Restoration Act is needed to restore the longstanding protections originally intended by Congress.
