To All,
There are several meetings being held in the next few days on impacts to the Russian River. On estuary impacts from proposed closing the mouth, there are meetings at the Jenner Community Center in Jenner on Wednesday, May 19 from 6:30 to 9 pm. Next one is Thursday, May 20, at the PRMD Room, 2550 Ventura Ave in Santa Rosa starting at 6:30. There are two more in early June. Those dates will be forthcoming. They will be held in Healdsburg and Ukiah.
There will also be a presentation in Santa Rosa at the Environmental Center on May 26th at 7 pm. (55A Ridgway Ave. – about 1.5 blocks west of Cleveland Ave. and 2 blocks north of West College. It’s in a semi-industrial area. Dane Behrens will talk about water quality monitoring and Elinor Twohy and hopefully Norma Jellison will talk about the seals.
