The End of Paper Water: Unlimited Demands, Natural Limits, and Reliable Supply
The program will examine different mechanisms and strategies to help solve the overarching problem of California’s limited water supply in the face of a growing population and increasing environmental concerns. In particular, the symposium will focus on the interconnectedness of water-supply and land-use planning, structures to increase water-supply conservation and efficiency, ways to secure water rights in the face of growing environmental concerns, and provide an update on water legislation and its relationship with our state’s water supplies.
