I am forwarding an email from the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin to finalize the head count for our bus trip to Morro Bay. Many groups across the State, up and down the coast, are organizing to oppose the removal of Dr. Charles Lester as Executive of the California Coastal Commission. I hope you’ll join us, either by writing a letter (email to StatusOfExecutiveDirector@coastal.ca.gov) or by attending. A coalition of groups is funding a bus and overnight accommodations for the trip from our region for a limited number of people.
http://eacmarin.org/featured/getting-to-morro-bay-from-marin-county/ is the website that has been updated with a page that has the travel information to Morro Bay. If you haven’t already done so, please sign up through the online form (so we can get a head count of who is coming driving on their own or if they are wanting to take the bus).
The commission has posted the hearing procedures on the web site. See attached pdf
If you are attending, plan to stay at least until mid-afternoon. Arrive early to get a speaker slip turned in.
Thanks for anything you are able to do – and all that you have already done,
Rue
