Subject: Public Meeting – January 7, 2008
Wastewater Management in Selected Reaches of the Lower
Russian River

Dear Fellow Citizens,
Because of recent and impending changes in California laws regarding on-site
waste disposal systems, several people have asked if it would be possible
to hold a community meeting and look at potential improvements to
sanitation. The idea is to look at common problems and potential common
solutions.

On January 7, 2008 we will hold a meeting at 2:00 p.m. at the Regional Water
Board¹s office in Santa Rosa. We are inviting several communities along or
close to the Russian River to the east of Rio Nido, and west of Mirabel.
In addition, several other entities are being invited. The meeting is open
to the public, and to any interested party.

The purpose is to look at common septic problems and explore potential
common solutions. We would very much like to have your input at this
meeting. We are scheduled to be done by 5:00 p.m. If you have any
questions you may call Robert Klamt or Luis Rivera at 576-2220.

Enjoy your holiday season, and start 2008 with us to work on improving our
environment.

Sincerely,
William R. Massey Board Member
